Ruth Anne Kocour was a globally-known mountaineer, photographer, artist, and writer. Many have asked to contribute in some meaningful way to her memory, consistent with her values. Working with her preferred conservation entities, The Nature Conservancy and the Northern Sierra Partnership, we'll help purchase and protect the 1320-acre Carpenter Valley.
