Through great adversity, Peyton graduated Summa Cum Laude with honors from the U of A, and has been offered a graduate assistant position in the College of Education. Her first semester of freshman year in December of 2012, she tragically lost her father by suicide. In early June of 2013, her mother was diagnosed with stage four bladder cancer, and passed away 7 weeks later. With God's help, thousands of prayers and her own perseverance, Peyton just graduated with high honors and has now been offered a paid year of graduate school to complete her masters in education. I'm indescribably proud to call her my "baby" sister and she deserves every honor and compliment she can get. One of the most beautiful people inside and out that I've ever had the privilege of knowing. :)
