David York died July 6, 2016 from a short battle with cancer. He passed away peacefully at his place of residents, with his dogs and a good friend by his side.

Did David have a favorite phrase or common mannerism?

A favorite phrase he liked was, It is what it is.

What will you miss most about David?

Mary Pelletier
I will miss everything about Dave. The good and the bad. He was a good person who endured a lot of heartbreak and pain in his life. I wish only great peace for him now. Until we met again.

What did you learn from David?

Mary Pelletier
The meaning of true love from the heart and soul. The good the bad and the meaning of being there for someone till the end. R.I.P. my friend.

What were David's greatest passions?

Dave's greatest passions in life were his dogs, coin and antique collecting.

How do you plan to honor David's memory?

Mary Pelletier
I will be honoring David's memory with a Graveside Military Honors Service, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
On August 11th at 1:00.

What are your best memories of time together?

Mary Pelletier
I have many memories of our time together. Like glueing the rattle back on to a rattle snake so it would have a way to protect itself before letting it go. Our road trip from TX to NH with 3 dogs, 2 tortoise, 1 snake, 1 fish. What a Ride that was!!!!! Our trips to the VA hospital putting on the oldies radio station and singing our hearts out. These are just a few.
