What's the most significant lesson dad taught you?
I had to break the news to my dad that I was leaving my husband of 10 years, with really no warning or hint there was trouble. I told him that what sealed my decision was when my ex said, "If I had known you would leave me, I would have treated you better." My dad's response: "I think they wrote a song about that. It's called 'Hit the Road, Jack!'"
