What's the most significant lesson dad taught you?

I work hard, I play hard, I love hard. That is how my dad lived everyday and what a wonderful example he set. He worked very hard, sometimes 7 days a week. When he wasn't working he was very present in our lives whether we were playing ball, fishing or just hanging around the house. He was interested in our lives, our dreams and everything that was happening with us. The greatest gift he gave me was his unconditional love, nothing is better for a child then knowing no matter what someone loves you and when its your Dad there is nothing better. Sadly he died at age 50 when I was 25. I miss him every day and he is always present in all aspects of my life. He was the perfect example of what a Dad should be. Remarkably his father took off when he was 9 years old; his dream was to be the best dad he could be, and he sure was!!
