What's the best piece of advice your mom ever gave you?
It's more like words of wisdom than advice. We were watching an outdoor symphony concert and one song was bad, almost painful. When it ended (finally) we both politely clapped. Mom leaned over and said to me, "Sometimes you clap because you liked it, and sometimes you clap because it's over." That memory still makes me laugh!
