This past Saturday my sweet girl Maggie is no longer feeling pain or fear. She was the dog love of my life. Never was there a gentler canine soul. She was around 16 years old, due to the fact she was a rescue we don’t know her exact age. We almost decided against adopting her, thank goodness we didn’t. She was on a farm with 50 other dogs of whom only half were the humane society able to rescue. On top of that, a family member of the abusers family hit Maggie with their car and broke her hip and she was still a pup! A kind-hearted doctor fused her hip bone in surgery she performed at no charge. That eventually caused enough pain for Maggie that she was suffering. Your human family will love you forever and will see you on the hiking trails in heaven.
