Frank Perlmutter
Answer one question or many - using words, photos or other media.
Mark Zashin
My name is Mark Zashin. I attended Pingry School during the time of Frank Perlmutter. In my senior year, I was the Business Editor of the Pingry Yearbook-1975. I needed someone to help me and Frank volunteered.
I knew Frank from Pingry and TBJ. It was a pleasure to work with him. His ability to handle this position was beyond my expectations. Rather than treat him as an underclassman, I treated him as my peer. He brought a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and talent to his position for the Pingry yearbook. I believed that anything he did he would do well.
He will be missed by all.

Hard to remember as it goes back to Kindergarten and first grade. But I frequently remember the generosity of the Perlmutter's inviting our family to see Duke Ellington at B'Nai Jeshurun, as well as a summer job at the SMG warehouse.

Frank was always ALL IN!!! Whether it was for family, friends, work or his Sherborn school activities, Frank's commitment was TOTAL. If he showed up you and everyone else knew it. He poured every ounce of his love, devotion, intellect and humor into all of us who were blessed to be in his life. To know him was to meet a force of nature. As Abraham Lincoln said-
"It is not the years in your life that count, but the life in your years." Frank LIVED, and we are the better for it. Susan Lopez-Giss "Susie"
