Happy Wedding Anniversary, Chodo and Koshin
Today we celebrate the happy moment--nine years ago today-- that Robert Chodo Campbell and Koshin Paley Ellison officially and publicly committed to a life of love and service together. The subsequent gifts of their confident, loving union allowed them to then begin the New York Zen Center for Contemplative Care, which now serves so many, in New York City and beyond, through engaged study of Zen meditation and an analysis of its applications for the tender, conscientious care of the ailing and the dying.
Their committed life of true engagement, which all stemmed from their fortuitous meeting and exchange of vows, has moved us all and is changing the world.
