I cannot say enough about Michael. Since my joining this family, he has been a constant in our lives (Doug & I) ever since. He became the brother I never had. Michael was an easy going person. We did many things together such as; dinners, traveling, camping, movies, parks, beach, Yosemite & more. Michael loved the water - he really enjoyed diving & fishing. Michael would laugh and tell Doug he knew where the next best fishing hole was or where they should dive next for AB. We also had the great pleasure of witnessing Michael be a loving father to his & Patty's children - Jessica, Kayla, Jeffrey. We had fun times watching each of them grow & participate in many school, Park & Rec funtions over the years. We saw how proud he was of his children with the biggest smile that couldn't be any brighter at each milestone they achieved and for each of them being just themselves. We were so very honored to see the ever constant nurturing love for his wife, Patty (our sister) A true everlasting love. He also loved their furbaby, Sadie, who definitely kept Michael on his toes. Michael really had an intutive insite about people, an understanding where he could figure out what made each person tick. He was a teacher/mentor of many life things, even when he didn't think so. He had a huge curiosity for learning how things were put together or done & then he would be able to do it himself or at least attempt to take on the challenge. He was street smart. He had a great laugh & cute smirk expression with a gleam in his eyes. He was a prankster, fun to be around. He had his somtime "HairCut" moments..lol! There were those times when Patty would surpise him with what she would say. .. the look on his face was hilariously priceless & then he would smile, shake his head & laugh. He had a great respect for others. I always admired him for the way he could just approach people he didn't know and talk with them, learn from them, or he would help them if needed, or just share what he had with them. He was a fighter in life, a defender of his family & friends. As I said I could go on & on about this extraordinary sweet man! He touched so many lives! He will forever be in my heart! I love you Michael & Will forever Miss you! Until we meet again ~ Starla
